Sapori Direct was founded from a deep appreciation for authentic Sicilian food and a belief that exceptional regional products deserve a wider audience in the UK.
After many years living and working in Italy, particularly in Sicily, I saw how many outstanding artisan foods rarely leave the island. Small family producers, often generations old, create products of remarkable flavour and integrity, yet lack the export infrastructure to reach international retailers.
Sapori Direct bridges that gap: sourcing directly from selected Sicilian producers and providing UK-based distribution for high-quality, certified organic, and ethically made foods.
Our first partnership is with Barbagallo 1911, a fourth-generation pasta producer from the slopes of Mount Etna whose organic ancient-grain and wellness pastas combine traditional craft with nutritional innovation
